School Days!

I know this is the second post today.. but there has been a lot going on and I'm catching up!!

After the three years of homeschooling, Bekah went back to school last week! She was both anxious and excited.... but has loved it!! She comes home every day with a smile on her face... (which we're finding isn't as often anymore now that she has turned 12.) She has so many stories to tell the minute she comes home and I'm loving to hear ALL about her day... even down to the itsy bitsy detail. She loves all of her classes, except history.. I guess you can't love everything, huh?

Micah is going to preschool two days a week as well. It's good for him and good for me and gives me a chance to get some much needed things done (Did I mention he is VERY active already?) He'll be home with us on Mondays, Tuesday's and Thursdays as well.

We started homeschool with the boys this week on Wednesday. It was a GREAT day! I'm so excited about the year and have so much fun planned. Both boys had a great day and are excited about school. Co-op starts in less than a month and we can't wait!!

Are you ready for some football?(and volleyball)

So we begin a new fall sports season. For us, that literally means three nights of football practice a week and Saturday games. VERY BUSY! Addition to football, this year, Bekah made the middle school volleyball team at Whitefield Academy.. we're very proud of her! Last Saturday.. Jake had a football game at 10:30, Bekah had a volleyball game at 11 and Jaron had a game at 1:30... and all kids had to be there an hour before the game! Needless to say, we were grateful that Dan's parents and sister came down last weekend or it would've been quite the challenge!! THANKS GUYS!!! Oh well... This is only for a season, right?? And I have to say there is nothing greater than the joy of watching your child make a tackle or acing a serve in volleyball... I LOVE IT!! I AM ready for some football and volleyball!!!
